Sybilla Merian has completed both her Bachelor as well as her Master in Economics at the University of Zurich, completing an exchange semester at the Smith School of Business in Canada. Her thesis explored the Impact of Word of Mouth on the Demand for movies, which led her to start a position as a PhD candidate at the Department of Business Administration as of June 2019.

Sybilla has strong interests in social networks and how they influence the interaction of customers and companies.
