Research Associate at the University of Zurich

Mingmin is a research associate and doctoral student at the Chair of Marketing and Marketing Research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from China and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Zurich. Upon finishing her Master’s Thesis on consumer behavior and conjoint analysis at our chair, she decided to start her Ph.D.

Mingmin worked as an algorithm engineer in tech companies (health; taxation). She is fascinated by the combination of methods and insights from different disciplines such as network sciences, economics, and machine learning. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling with her friends.

Research focus: Social Networks, Consumer Behavior, Econometrics.

Methodological focus: Causal Inference, Machine Learning, Conjoint Analysis.
