Jochen is a Senior Research Associate at the Chair for Technology Marketing the ETH Zurich. He received his Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.
The interdependency between investors and corporate decision makers is of crucial importance. In his research, Jochen Becker centers these relationships on an interpersonal level – with a focus on marketing strategy topics. Concretely, he explores how relational perceptions (e.g., trust) affect the quality and amount of information exchanged – which subsequently results in a higher level of mutual commitment. To analyze this broader research questions, Jochen applies different investor settings and data sources whereby he relies on primary survey data (on the C-level) and on secondary data, which capture the quality of investor relations.
