Daniel Rüegge is Head Global Client Analytics at IPS Wealth Management which provides senior management and the sales organizations with insights based on advanced analytics and on client data, supporting management decisions and identifying sales opportunities. Innovation projects on big data applications such as e.g. client behavior based recommender systems aim at contributing to a personalized and digital client experience.

Starting in Swiss Retail Client Analytics developed into to a global organization with teams of Data Scientists in Zürich and Singapore, covering all units of UBS Wealth Management and UBS Swiss Bank.

Before joining UBS in 2000 he was responsible for the European implementation and sales business of information systems at a US biotech firm – the first company to sequence the human genome. Daniel Rüegge holds a PhD in science from the University of Zürich.
