I am interested in researching the use of conversational agents and chatbots in digital service and healthcare settings. In particular, I am interested in how “onboarding” can be used to orient individuals to new service contexts, as well as how social support from family/friends can be utilized in healthcare settings to strengthen the relationship between the patient, the provider and chatbots.
